    Hi,
    Am new to this forum, i have been browsing & really wanted some help on my condensing tumble dryer.
    I bought the above, feb 2005 i barely use it, maybe only for 3/4 months in the year & only once a week at that!
    Recently the cottons programs (esp cupboard dry) seem to stick! (comes on for 10 mins), then all the lights/beeping sound come on telling me to empty all the filters, which i have done lots of times to be sure!
    I have been reading on the forum this seems to be a problem with other bosch dryers, any advice on what to do is greatly appreciated!
    (Would it be any good to do a reset from the back?!)

    Its the empty filter lamps 😉 sorry i should have been more specific!
    Its doing this now in all the programmes, only after 10mins into each programme. I read in the manual it could be condensing unit…any thoughts anyone?!

    yes check condensor in bottom, it should be cleaned regulary, chances are if you havent done that then that is what it will be

    I checked & cleaned that before i posted here as specified by the manual, nothing has changed :(, just wondering what else it could be…….?!

    if everything is clean the only things it can be is if water isnt getting to tank at top(blockage or pump failure), or could be sensor

    Oh man! sounds really expensive, what should i be looking at re repairs?, d&G are offering a years warranty for£89 😉

    Ok so it is the sensor!, is there anyway this can be replaced without bankrupting myself?!, also got a friend who’s an electrician, can he replace it easily?, thanks in advance!
