Bosch Logixx8 dead!

Hi, looking for a bit of advice which I can’t find on searching. My dad’s Bosch Logixx8 VarioPerfect WAS24460GB/8 suddenly went dead in the middle of a cycle. It’s completely dead, no lights or noises of any sort.

I’ve started to test through and there is power to the machine and the mains surpressor is ok. The rotary program selector allows power through too to the module. I was thinking control board or maybe door lock- do these sound possible on this unit and if it is the module is it likely that something has blown it by drawing too much current? I can’t find the appropriate module on the UKWG shop which I’ve used several times before.

The machine is a Bosch and is only 5 years old – and used only once a week! A little disappointing and I’d love to repair it.

sound like a poss power supply problem to the board but have you checked the socket its plugged into ?

I fixed this machine with a £30 secondhand module off eBay. All good now.
