    Bosch SGS 6312 GB/12
This dishwasher has worked perfectly for years, until last week when the cleaning quality dropped suddenly and the powder was not even being washed out of the dispenser.
I have tried the obvious things without any result –
    – Cleaned out the spray arms
    – Put a bottle of dishwasher cleaner through
    – Checked the sump/filters/non-return valve
    – Cleaned out the plastic tube that takes the water up to the top spray arm
    – Checked the mains water inlet and filter
    – Checked the drain hose
As far as I can tell (by opening the door during a wash cycle) there is very little water coming out from the top spray arm.
The unit fills and empties ok.
Can anyone suggest what to try next – or whether I’m barking up the wrong tree?
    Thanks.

The hose from the fill matrix on the left hand side of the machine to the sump will be clogged and restricted, causing underfilling.

Remove door outer, kick panel and inner metal panel, hose is in left bottom corner. Clean thoroughly.

    Power off, of course.

    Regards,

Yeaaa… looks like thats fixed it! 😆 The tube was pretty well blocked with gunk and after cleaning a quick test shows that the performance is back to normal.
As usual, getting the panels apart takes most of the time… I took the left side panel off as well.

I understand that you superheros have to keep your true identities secret – but a big thank you to Penguin45.
