Bosch Maxx Washing machine not agitating or spinning

Hi,

Hope someone out there can help me. We’ve had our washing machine just under 3 years. About a week ago it stopped agitating and spinning the washing is soaking wet after a cycle. I’ve checked the pump and there seems nothing blocking it.

Can anyone help me?

If the drum isn’t rotating at all it could be one of a number of things to be honest.

The belt, the carbon brushes worn, the motor or the control unit.

Probably best to ask an engineer to look at it for you Lucy, if you need help finding one, let us know your postcode or take a look in the directories from the main menu on the left.

As Dave intimated it is most likely the Motor Brushes have worn after 3 years useage 😉 . Easy and relatively cheap to get sorted no problem if you get a local independant engineer in to fix it 🙂
