ParticipantI am stumped with this one chaps, customer complained that the clothes were just not coming out clean, ie deodorant marks still left on white shirts washed at 60 deg.
I checked which detergent they were using, and they’re using Ariel powder, should be ok I thought.
Been out to the machine and checked the heater, ntc pressure system all ok. Then I ran the machine to check that it was agitating ok, it was and got up to temperature.
So I am stuck, I can’t think what else to look for that would affect the wash quality.
Any ideas 😕
Cheers

By far the most common cause of these symptoms is sludged-up drain hoses and gunged-up pump inlet from the sump hose. Or even clogged-up ball valve in the sump hose? Constant ‘quick wash’ programmes and 40deg progs all the time take there toll and on a WFL2260GB/01.
Taking the drain hose off to flush clean is a pain. So instead I use a drain clearing compressed air gun. (Brilliant they are!). Remove the pump filter and cover the vacant hole with a damp towel. Take the end of the hooked drain hose and pour a little water (about a pint) into the hose. Pump up the air gun 15-20 times then BLAST-IT CLEAR!!! (Make sure that towel can hold back the shoosh ‘cos it can be real messy what comes out.
Do that a couple of times and the entire hose will be super clear!!
HTH? 😀

Ask them to show you how much powder or Liquid they use.
In hardwater London,90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of poor wash faults Are user faults, Overloading or not using enough Powder/liquid.
If they use powder they rarely use measured amount
I recommend tablets.
Load=3/4 full dry washing. When it fills and tumbles, Should be half way up glass when stationery.
If necessary put wash on before you leave, phone later to check OKJune 9, 2010 at 7:14 pm #321430Turbo

Insufficient rinse or overload sounds favorite. Has this problem just started and machine o.k. before ? If it was good then what is she doing different now?

I have advised the customer that there is nothing wrong with their machine and to try different detergents ie tablets with a fixed dosage. I also warned that overloading the washer will cause it to not wash properly.
Thanks for your input everyone. 😀 -
