ParticipantHi There good people, last job of the week, just around the corner from me house, lovely jubbly quick couple of quid for the weekend. not so!!!! 😥
Bosch Maxxit wfr 2460 gb/01 fd8107 the one with digital display but this ones digital display isn’t working, weird thing is the customer states that when the display does come up it reads “BEREIT” now i dont know if thats menu in another language or what but i cant get the machine to start or do nothing, would no display stop the machine from working?i couldn’t get nothing on the little display screen although the baclight screen does light up and the selector dials little circle of red led lights come on.I knew that i was pi**ing in the wind looking for dry joints, can any of you good people confirm it will be the little display pcb? Is it a common fault? and can i go ahead and order the part knowning its that? or am i to look elswhere? 😕
TOLD CUSTOMER I WAS GOING TO POST A THREAD ON THIS SITE FOR SOME INFO AND HE LOOKED AT ME AS IF I WAS FROM OUTERSPACE SO I SUGGESTED THAT HE COULD ALLWAYS CALL OUT BOSCH FOR £80 ODD PLUS PARTS, HIS REPLY WAS THAT THAT THE INTERNET IS A WONDERFULL PLACE AND HE LOOKS FORWARD TO SEEING ME ON MONDAY…. 😀

Well “Bereit” is German for “Ready” so I guess there is a configuration problem developed within the Control Module if the English version of this appliance (as in this case) is suddenly talking Deutsch :con:
I guess you will need to unplug that module and take a close look at the tracks, as I suspect one has blown for whatever reason 😕
Sorry can’t help any more on this 😥

Hi, i suppose the door locks and nothing happens, then you will have to replace the module. If the whatever it displays means ready then MODULE!
