    Hi,
    I have a Bosch microwave/oven HBC84E 653B/03 which stops after approx. 20 seconds. The food inside is cold, not even vaguely warm. I have been told that it may be something called a magnetron which is causing the problem. Any ideas please?

    sounds likely

    luckily these units use panasonic microwave parts so you can get the parts a lot cheaper than Bosch

    Its not a DIY job as you dealing with lethal voltages namely 5000v
