ParticipantBosch HBC86Q650B/02 Combi oven.
When the door is closed the turntable motor buzzes and turns very slowly. When the microwave oven is started the turntable motor does not rotate.
All the door switches operate correctly.
I have found an earth fault of 3 Megohms in the oven element. I have isolated the faulty element and the fault still exists.
I can’t think of anything else likely to cause this fault therefore by a process of elimination think it likely to be the power board.
Has anyone any other input to this problem?

Is the light working? had a couple where the lamp has blown and blown tracks etc on the board, which can give this fault.

The bulb still works on his oven.
Was it the power PCB that blew?

I’ve found the same in the past and assumed this was going to be an easy repair!
This machine has a simple switching mechanism and works OK.

Yes it was the power board that blew.

I have had the same fault, the actuator that opens vent cover had shorted blowing a few tracks on main pcb. expensive!

As the machine required an element as well as the main PCB the customer has decided to replace rather than repair.
Thanks for the feedback.
