ParticipantI’m considering purchasing a Bosch Exxel WAE24464. However, I’m a little bit confused over their model numbers. I’ve noticed that there are also Exxel models for sale that arent listed in the product lineup on the Bosch website. For examle WAE24465 , which is being sold by Dixons and various on-line stores.
I can see the technical differences in the models, e.g. load capacity. But why no mention of them on the Bosch website ?
Further to my question, are either of these a decent machine, and are they made in Germany ?
thanks in advance for any help……

I’m not sure which Bosch website you have looked at, but this link will take you right there : –

They are all made to the same high BOSCH standard in their factories spread around the EC (Poland,Spain and Germany) The Exxcel and Logixx range are manufactured in Germany by the way! 😉

Hi Moll
There may be two reasons that he Bosch website doesnt show the model.
1/ The website has not been updated and WAE24465 is the new model to replace the WAE24464.
2/ WAE24465 has been made specifically for Dixons Group, enabling them to be able to say “We Won’t be beaten on price”; as you you wont be able to buy that particular model anywhere else 😈Greg

If it is exclusive to a chain of stores, the cosmetic appearance is usually slightly different. Also, there could be slightly fewer programmes or wash options available, and/or final spin speed could be slightly less.
For instance, a widely available machine might have a 1200 spin, and have a ‘sportswear’ programme. But the exclusive machine may have an 1100 spin, but not have ‘sportswear’.

The WAE24465GB does indeed replace the 24464. The selling price should be about the same, I havn`t seen any spec yet 😉 . The only downside is Bosch do not have any stock until the end of November.
