Bosch motor tacho fault?

    Due to installation and time constraint I wasn’t able to extricate the machine from under the worktop.

    Set to spin and it is obvious the motor is not under control, ramps up fast then cuts out then repeats this.

    Removed lower front panel to inspect motor wiring which appears to be intact.

    Not encountered this on a Bosch appliance before, as the electronics are obviously sensing the fault and cutting the power does this point to a motor/tacho fault and would that involve a new motor?

    had a few where the magnet had split in half

    managed to extract it from a scrap motor and refit it.
    its a bit difficult because its behind the back bearing
