Bosch new format SBV50E10 wierdness – wont work unless you..

…open door during its drain phase.

start it up, drains, then activates circ motor but doesn’t take water in, senses its empty so then goes back to draining. continues this then the no fill light coming on.

weird thing is if you open door during the draining phase, it will start to fill.

have already replaced reed switch to find no change in symptoms.

already have pump and would have tried that but its the extra deep carcass, which means the pump is nigh on impossible to replace without full strip down, as its sitting hard on base.

am wondering if its possible theres an issue with the door lock sensor, has anyone else had any similar issues?

not sure but,
From what i have read etc the pump is 3 phase ( therefore has 3 wires going to it) they use the current going to the pump to sense when unit is empty. if pump is getting worn and jamming it will draw more current and therefore board will not sense it is empty

you may have to try the pump change to find out

I have the same problem on the same model. Did the new pump fix the problem?
