Bosch – No drainage of water

Hello,

Here at work we have a pair of Bosch S9G1B dishwashers. One of the dishwashers has recently started to play up, in that it will no longer drain out any water.

This appeared to happen mid cycle, as the unit started to cycle dirty water around for the whole cycle, not draining out as it normally would.

I am wondering if it could be something as simple as a failed drain pump, or if there is a level or pressure sensor that could be playing up.

My other question is what sort of price would we expect to pay a professional to repair the unit? Normally, if it were a home appliance, I’d undertake the repair myself, but, with it being in the workplace, I’d rather someone else took it on for insurance purposes!!.

I have checked the unit again. The model number is as follows. (I think).

Easy one – bail out the water, bottom left in the sump is a cover, retained by a single screw, remove it to expose the impellor for the drain pump and remove any objects – be careful, shards of glass are just about invisible.

Hello,

Just spent a few minutes clearing the impeller, whatever was blocking it soon cleared after a quick mop up of the area.

I ran the unit through a test and am pleased to report that it is draining correctly once more.
