Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum so please excuse me if I am covering old ground, and repeating earlier posts.
My Bosch SGS5312GB is playing up.
Symptoms (it is doing one of two things)
1. Does not operating final rinse (and I think circulation or drain pump continually runs, but cycle does not progress.
2. It sometimes overfills
1. Machine clean, no blockages in filters, impeller, drain hose or inlet
2. New inlet solenoid installed
3. Plenty of heat in appropriate cycles
4. Reset works each time it is activated, and ends cycle
5. Anti float works when machine overfills, or when I activate it (lifting rod) to nudge it within cycle when its stuck
6. Drain pump works every time
7. All chambers clean, clear and working
8. Pressure chamber expands normally
9. Detergent dispenser broken on door, we throw the tablet in currently
10. Water is let into the machine with no issues
My suspicion is that the pressure chamber microswitch is at fault.
I have observed that the pressure valve expands and activates the switch, and changes the operation, but many a time the small black switch element underneath remains stuck in the body, leaving the blue arm permanently pushed out, and I imagine the microswitch being permanently activated., and confusing the machine/computer.
I figure changing the microswitch will fix it. Anyone concur?
Cheers
