ParticipantI’ve not come across this problem before but this machine (WFE2021GB/01) fills, washes, heats and drains but will not spin? 😕
Initially I went straight for the brushes and changed them. The old brushes were well worn down but still making good contact. Motors megger’s up just fine. Pressure switch seems to operate OK, no sludge in system either. The heater meggers good too. Motor works with no problems and physical state of module looks just fine too…..
Specific symptoms: Set to spin only, pump runs for 1 minute and timer counts down OK. Then (presumably at the point when the distribution sequence should begin prior to spin) everything stops but the countdown timer, which continues to count down for a further 10 minutes until the end, nothing happens in the meanwhile. Door interlock locked all the while of course until the end.
My only thought is the main module (263909) is duff? The BIG PROBLEM there though is that they are £250……….!!!! 😯 Not something I’m willing to take a punt on right now, unless that is you guys can confirm, or suggest something I’ve overlooked?????

No-spin button?
No, you wouldn’t miss that, would you?

Motor is almost certainly fritzed – armature damaged and generating noise which the pcb doesn’t like.

The motor is fine, connections to it from the module also fine. Any other thoughts guys? 🙂

I MAY have one of these modules which you could have cheap. (really cheap!) I will have a look in my stock tomorrow morning if you are interested. Gerry

Odd story attached to this one. The PCB did prove to be duff, machine went to the tip and later rose like a Phoenix from the ashes some weeks later in another part of the county….!
