Bosch not cleaning just draining

Hello all

Our bosch classixx has started showing the check water light.
When turned on it makes the usual noises like its taking in water and when checking outside in the drain its draining water.

The problem is that it seems to be coming in and draining straight away, no cleaning is taking place.

Following the advice in the manual we have

checked for kinks in the infeed and outfeed pipe
checked for blockages in the filters
checked that there isnt a problem with the tap
checked that the water supply wasnt disrupted while it was in use.

can anyone suggest anything else?
