bosch not taking conditioner

hi guys,

WAA28161GB/07

struggling on this a bit .
tried the obvious,
cleaned out dispensor lid-still not taking softener.
replaced dispensor lid-still no go.
the machine is completing the cycle ok so i take it the solenoid valves must be Ok or it would stop the cycle.
the valves are a combined twin unit and the resistance of the coils seems OK.
any suggestions?

Could be one of the solenoids has gone . One solenoid is used for the main wash and rinse – the other one is used for pre-wash and rinse .

With the rinse cycle , both valves are operated so if its the prewash valve thats gone , the appliance will still fill ok albeit with no water coming from the conditioer holes .
When you first switch the machine on , do you get a short burst of water coming out of the right hand side ?

not sure but i’ll check it.
i take it i should get this initial burst if everything is OK, if not maybe the solenoid is faulty like ou said.
