Hi, I have never ever owned a tumble dryer and have just moved house so am in desparate need of one with winter rapidly approaching. I am looking between a Bosch Classixx WTA74200GB and an AEG T65170AV. I was about to go for the bosch when I noticed that the energy cost of the AEG was almost half that of the bosch:

AEG: Annual Energy Cost Based On 15.44p/Unit 40.62 pounds

Bosch: Annual Energy Cost Based On 15.44p/Unit 74.42 pounds

This how now made me think that I should in fact rather go for the AEG. I was going to go for the bosch as I like that it tells you how long the load has to go, whereas the AEG does not. The AEG also looked a bot old and outdated.

I will only use it in winter for towels and bedding and possibly jeans. I always hang my washing outside when its warmer.

Any advice would be most welcome! Thanks.

Bosch is a tatty constructed tin box with all the bells and whistles. The AEG is truly fit for the purpose.
