Bosch Serie 2 HHF113BR0B. Only had this oven for 6 weeks. I think there is a problem with the cooking fan at the back of the oven. After switching the oven on and setting a temperature, it takes about 20 mins before I notice the fan start to spin. Does anyone know if this is normal? I would expect the fan to start up immediately, or at least once the oven gets to temperature. I believe this model is what’s called a ‘forced fan’ oven, with the heating element surrounding the fan in the rear panel. I’ve noticed the element glowing bright orange while heating up and am worried about it burning out. Shouldn’t the fan spin all the time to simultaneously cool the element?

I can’t see anything in the manual about this, I look forward to your thoughts.

    Many thanks
