Bosch HBN580651B/01. FD 8707.
Saw this oven today and the display shows “E15 Call Service Centre”……. but you can’t get it to do anything. When the function knob is turned, the red band lights up, so there’s obviously a sign of life but still nothing is working. I’ve Google’d the problem and it appears there is a reset procedure involving turning the control from rotisserie to pyro three times. This is of little help as the display won’t tell me when it’s on rotisserie or pyro….. 👿
Customer also reported that it tripped the power and has not worked since (apart from showing the E15). I have insulation tested all the elements and stats in the oven and none were showing to be faulty cold.So there we have it. I’m stuck. So any help would be appreciated!!

‘Other’ web sites suggest it’s an overheat sensor probe error. But if that were the case then surely the user would say it got bloody hot, burnt the dinner to a crisp then shown E15 wouldn’t they?

That’s the thing Martin – just stopped working, apparently all OK till the trip went. If all parts check out and all TOC’s are as they should be – so it has to be PCB…..but which one? If the probe has failed is it probe or PCB controlling it? 😕
Any more help would be appreciated!!
