This oven needs new fan motor but it costs £126.28 plus VAT. Is there a cheaper alternative that would fit?

I found two different types one is 35 watts and the other is 22 watts. The one in the oven looks like it has 35 watt due to the type of shaft.

Would it make much difference if I used the 22 watts and will it fit without any difficulties?

    Cheers
    Matt

I don’t think MTR9817 will fit TBH. The motor fixing legs are wide and the genuine replacement uses a wide open-vaned steel fan rather than an aluminium casting fan and included a cooling fan. Best fit genuine I would suggest.

thanks for this, I know what you mean on being able to buy products cheaper on t’internet than the suppliers themselves. Recently I needed a Samsung fan element, £60 for the element on all my suppliers, then on Amazon for half price from the same supplier. The moral of the story, always check all three – supplier, eBay and Amazon before ordering the parts.
