Bosch bulbs and holders are an issue and can often blow the electronics too. (Do please always give the full Enr. Number of the appliance when seeking help by the way.) You might best change the bulb AND holder to be on the safe side. 😉

Hi sorry and thankyou I’m new to the site and still learning so apologies for the lack of information.
The Enr no is hba13b250b and I have just found the lamp assembly on Qualtex so I think on your advice I’ll try that first.
    Thanks

No problem, only too pleased to oblige. By the way, those lamp holders are as cheap as chips and come with lens and bulb so it’s always a good thing to change the lot rather than the bulb alone. On many Bosch/Neff ovens those darn lamp holders often blow the electronic board when changing bulbs.

The advent of those Karcher type steam cleaners people use to clean their ovens these days is very often the reason they blow up. Water and electrics eh, what are they like these people?

I had one dozy bird say to me ….“we wouldn’t dream of using water to clean the inside of the oven, my hubby uses one of those steam cleaning thingys”
