Bosch oven loose temperature control knob

Hello all

I have a Bosch HBN 13N5.OB. The temperature control has developed a lot of play. I initially thought it was just the removeable plastic knob, but having removed it, I’ve found that it’s actually the white mechanism within. (See picture).

I would say the white mechanism has about 20 degrees worth of free play.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations before calling out an engineer?

Enr not all there but it looks like maybe yours has the plastic coupler that tends to break. Done lots of them
