I have a Bosch PUE611BF1B induction hob which is just over 2 years old. Although it appears to be working fine, on all 4 rings and with the same cookware I’ve always used there is a very obvious hissing type sound when heating which was not there before. It is not the normal sound of the induction hob working and is much louder than that. I thought initially it was water beneath the pan or trapped inside the pan, but it happens with all pans on all rings. It is hard to tell if it is a sound coming from the pan or the hob itself but does sound a bit like an electrical buzz/hiss if that makes any sense.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any thoughts on what it might be?
