    Problem: “Check Water Light” flashing.

The first time I saw the error light I went through the usual checks. No kinks in the hose, cleaned the filters, checked that impeller could spin freely with no obstructions.

The next time I ran a cycle, during the drying phase the machine stopped making any sort of operating noise. The check water light had not lit up yet. I left it for a while (unmonitored) and when I returned the light was on and flashing. The dishes come out relatively clean so the first few stages of a cycle seem to be in working order. Something during the drying phase seems to be at fault.

Searched the forum before posting and noted that replacing the reed switch might help for “Check Water Light” errors. Would an issue with the reed switch fault only appear at the start of a cycle?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

the reed switch effectively counts in the water. as they get older they can become intermittant.
dont forget the fault can also occur if the water flow is not sufficient as the timer expect to fill the unit in a given time

I’ll look into replacing the reed switch and see how it goes then, thank you.
