    Hi everyone,

My Bosch slimline dishwasher started showing a flashing tap symbol recently. I’ve had a reputable engineer round that diagnosed that the sump wasn’t able to seal to the metal tank. He tried tightening the plastic screws, but this didn’t work and he had to return.

He concluded there is nothing that can be done and doesn’t think repair kits are any good at all.

He seemed trustworthy, but I wanted a couple of second opinions before I bin a 3-year old dishwasher and buy another (depressing).

He recommended Beko moving forwards. Any further advice is much appreciated.

    seems odd to me

the complete new sump is under £40 for the part unless the steel is damaged that will cure it

Yeah, his diagnosis was that the thin steel bowl has likely warped and the sump will never be able to seal to it ‍♂️

What was your date of purchase? That FD number indicates production month of December 2021 . All Bosch appliances come with a two year warranty. I would still complain even if it’s only just out of warranty.

Hi Don, date of purchase was 26th Jan 2022. So outside the two years. I guess it’s worth a try…
