I am considering buying this machine and I am trying to find out if there are any downloadable programmes available for this machine on Bosch’s Home connect app.
A simple question which Bosch took 2 weeks to answer but I am sceptical of their answer, see below. They advise that the downloadable programmes are : Hygiene, Towels, Shirts and Down.
From my own investigation on the Home Connect website, I see that their washing machines are listed as having downloadable programmes but this is not listed as a benefit under the washer dryer category. If anyone out there has this machine and uses Home Connect I would appreciate knowing if there are any additional programmes that can be down loaded and what they are. I am particularly interested in a programme to wash down filled items.
Hope someone can help as I can’t bear to send another message into the black hole that is Bosch customer service.

Update : On further inspection the programme selector on the machine has an ‘App programs’ option so I’ll have to hope that Bosch have given me the correct information.

I guess from the time scale they had to go back to Home Connect which is based in Germany by the looks of it. I tried to cheat and download the app, registered okay got the QR for the product from the info but it then prompts a search for the washer dryer which it couldn’t find so that was a dead end!!

Trawling through all the paperwork that is available on the product page here it appears that the app content varies by country, it does state in the user manual that ” App Programs Select additional programmes directly via the Home Connect app. A description of the programmes can be found in the Home Connect app. Note: Your appliance must be connected to your home network and registered in your Home Connect app”.

On the same product page there is an area where you can write a review or ask a question so that which hopefully will collaborate the answer you have already been given.

So not really further forward but a little wiser 😉

Thanks for taking the time to look into this Don, it is much appreciated.

I downloaded the app and registered in an attempt to cheat too [IMG2=JSON]{“data-align”:”none”,”data-size”:”full”,”src”:”https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forums/core/core/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif”}[/IMG2] but didn’t get as far as you. It is very frustrating that until you have purchased the machine and have it delivered there is no way of identifying what is available or, more importantly, not available on the app. I suppose this information would show this type of app to be less than they are cracked up to be and no longer a selling point. I have no real interest in the app apart from the additional programs it can make available that are not on the machine already.

I’ll go back to Bosch and ask them to confirm that the app programmes they have given me are specifically available in the UK for this machine bearing in mind their very small print disclaimer on the Home Connect guide. I’ll post when they eventually get back to me…

I have received the following confirmation from Bosch :

‘I can confirm the available additional programmes via Home Connect advised are correct for the UK.’

So the programmes available to download from the app in the UK are Hygiene, Towels, Shirts and Down.

Hopefully this will be of use to other prospective purchasers.
