I’m hoping somebody can help me…

I have recently replace the in-line water heater on my SGI57M05GB as the machine was stopping on the rinse cycle and not heating the water. That problem is now fixed, however, I now have another problem which I can’t figure out…

Now the dishwasher completes its wash-cycle “normally”, however once the cycle completes ( timer runs down to 00 and it stops ) the machine is still full of water… It is all clean and free of debris throughout and there are no blockages. If I trip the float switch manually it empties perfectly.

    any ideas ??

    Thanks !

If the pump worked OK before the heater change then I would think a wire has come adrift?

the pump works when I manually trip the micro switch on the float… I can’t see any loose or missing connections around that area… any idea where else I could look ??

The question I set was, did the pump operate normally PRIOR to the heater change?

yes, the pump all worked, the only thing wrong PRIOR to the heater change was cold water and the cycle not progressing past rinse…

That being the case then a wire/connector block has probably got displaced. Time to check and double check all connections.
