Bosch sgs 3042GB dishwasher -water not circulating?

At turnon i can hear the water being emptied from reservoir(?) and the valve turning on to do a prefill(?) but the water isn’t going through the sprayarms

Are their two motors on this model ??

Yep, drain pump and circulation pump. After approx 1 min of fill, you should hear the circulation pump cut in. If you can hear the pump running but have no circulation, the machine is underfilling (a common problem with this range). A faint humming noise would indicate that the pump is jammed or that the start/run capacitor is no longer kicking the pump into action.

If you’re going into the machine, pull the plug first. :plug:

Nah!

Just a blockage from the fill unit to the tub most likely. Not a DIY job and I would advise contacting our repairs@ to see if their is an engineer covering your area to take a look and give it a service :tup:
