Bosch SGS 6312 Dishwasher dispenser has stopped opening

Suddenly the dishwasher powder dispenser has just stopped opening automatically on my Bosch dishwasher.

Following the steer from an earlier post re a SMEG dishwasher, it looks like it is possible to buy both (1) a Dispenser Unit and (2) a release catch kit.

Is it likely that replacing these could fix my problem ? Should I replace both or should I try something else first, please ?

Any tips much appreciated.

Most probable is the little wax actuator has died, tbh (p/no 166635)
If that checks out ok, then module (p/no 264877)

Power off if you are to investigate inside :plug:

Both parts are available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
