Hi Guys.
One for the Bosch Experts.
Went to this d/w today, customer out key under mat job, found customer had left “post-it” notes.
(1)”Autowash taking 2hrs30mins.” (I noted that a the display indicated
that it was going to take 2hrs44mins, but I dont know what the “norm” is for that programme.)
(2)”Quick wash programme not functioning properly- cycle does not finish.
needs to be done manually and does not drain properly.” (I tested for draining and 2-3 cycles pumped out fine).
At this point husband came home and added”the cycle times keep randomly reselecting themselves”.
I have not seen this model before, its got a module in the base, r/h side.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

After checking the ‘usual’ causes (i.e crud in pressure chamber to sump hose, pump chamber and non return valve clear, heater working and spray arms circulating loads of water etc) Then it could be the turpidary sensor playing tricks and often a good flush through with a dishwasher cleaner a couple of times may cure?

I trust they are putting salt into the thing are they?

I will follow up on all these points. One “post-it” message from customer
which I did not post earlier was ” have used two packets of descaler in last couple of weeks”. If the Turpidity sensor is still suspect is there any way of cleaning this or is replacement the norm?.

For your info, autowash is the only programme that utilises the turbidity circuitry.

Just as a matter of interest, can someone advise the approved way of emptying the water tank on this series of d/w, in order that it can be moved to give access to the float assembly?.
