Hi, I have a problem with my Bosch dishwasher not draining and am hoping that someone may be able to help me please.

I’ve followed all the helpful tips I could find ie the drain hose is not blocked. Neither is the waste that the drain hose drains to. The pump is not blocked with debris and the impellors spin normally in the water. The 2 hoses on the back left of machine (one of which is the drain hose) have both been disconnected and poked around in, they are not blocked. Nor is the hose at the front bottom of the machine. The small black round rubber valve thing that slots in by the impellors is clean & I’ve removed it and tried draining but no change.

I’ve even put on a new drain pump in case the other one was failing but still the same and no water being pumped out. It’s as though there is not suction, just movement of water.

Can anyone give me an idea of what else I’m missing here? Are the plastic water chambers on the side cleanable or even accessible? Where else could there be a blockage that I can get to?

I hope I’ve been clear in what I’ve tried to do.
Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thanks.

It is essential the pump chamber cover is refitted and screwed down otherwise it wont drain out anyway.

Thank you Thank you Thank you! 🙂

Hadn’t done that. Refitted the pump chamber cover, partially ran a programme then drained it and it works!

I’m very happy as you can probably tell. You’ve saved me and my husband yet another day of head scratching 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply Martin.
