Bosch sgs3042gb/03 not fully draining intermittently

Hi guys.

I’m pretty sure that’s the enr its pretty scuffed, FD 8009, its the mechanical timer type dial (LH side of facia)
The above dishwasher has a drain problem, it seems it doesn’t fully drain out intermittently, yet the drain pumps fine, pipes seems ok, pressure chamber / transfer pipe seems clear, could it be the timer?

I had one like this a little while ago and never fully got to the bottom of it. Has anyone come across this before?

Judging by its age the pump is most likely knackered, works one minute not the next, is my gut feeling.
