I have a Bosch SGS 4012 GB dishwasher (all stainless steel cabinet) purchased around 2010. It has displayed error E15 which (thanks to the searching the posts on this forum) probably means a leak. (Symptoms are that the pump runs for approx 2 mins every 4 mins even when the display is off). Moving and tilting the machine has cleared the fault for now, but if it happens again, is it worth attempting a repair given the age of the appliance?
if moving and tilting the machine cures the problem then the base of the machine has flooded due to a leak. this can be a physical problem such as a hole or blockage or too much foam in the unit

A SGS4012GB does not have a display window to show an E15 error code. Are you sure you’ve quoted the actual model number or was that perhaps your previous machine’s old instruction book you’re quoting from? 😕
Good question! I assumed the manual in the kitchen drawer (SGS4012) was for the product we are using but… Unfortunately the rating label on the top of the door is no longer legible. The product has the ‘Exxcel’ brand marking if that helps identify it. I’m away this week so can check again when I get back.
The ENR and FD number are etched into the top of the silver rim of the door just left of the door catch. You will need to rub this area with a cloth and a good light in order to read it.
