Bosch SGS43A12GB27

Hi all
I have a Bosch Exxel auto (model as in header) which throws trip in house after about 3 minutes of start of cycle – I am assuming that this requires an element.
1) Are heating elements on these difficult to fit?
2) why are they so expensive compared to others when they seem to not last very long (dishwasher is not old)?
3) where is the best place to buy?

It may be any electrical component causing this not just the heater!

Do you really think so? All machines run the risk of breakdown no-matter what make or how much they cost!

well originally I meant heater – but if its very tricky and I would also need an engineer – pushing the price up well over £100 I maybe aswell buying a new machine.

It’s a tough call Key to be honest, if you do have any electrical knowledge and a Megger handy then take a look for yourself. Won’t cost to at least check it out. For a local engineer to do the same may set you back between £30 & £60 (possibly?).

Do ensure you disconnect it from the mains first of course and if you want a little local help click on the link below. 😉
