    Bosch Dishwasher SGS43A18GB/42– FD8212

I have got to attend to one of these dishwashers tomorrow afternoon, the only information that I have is that it is not filling. Which on the face of it should be quite straight forward.

However this machine is in such a remote area, I will have to abandon my van approximately 4 miles from the house and then be taken by “Argocat” across a moor then down a steep cliff path to the shore. When I get there, there’s no telephone and no mobile signal. (This is why I can’t contact the customer to ask for more details.)

I really want to be armed with everything for every eventuality.
Apart from the usual Solenoid, Blockage or Pressure switch. can any one suggest another reason for not fill.? does this model have a fault code display? (not that I have been informed of any flashing lights)
I have been told that the machine is about 18 months to 2 years old, but has only been used for about a fortnight.

This job is too remote to not get the job done first time.
    Your guidance would be appreciated.

    David

    Hi
I think you have covered all bases and an ordinary solenoid will fit original fill valve unit, if required 😀

    Cheers Gegsy,
That is going to make some interesting bed time reading. I just hope that I don’t nod off and drop the laptop on the floor.
    I really appreciate your help.

Quick update, found that a mouse had taken a liking to the polystyrene float. I made a new one on site. Everybody Happy. Thanks for the support.
