A good place to start would be the float….situated at about 6 o’clock in the sump under a pull-off cover…often get bunged up and stuck. Make sure there is no condensation in the clear part of the float (new float req’d) and that you put it back the same way up 😉

Any doubts about it then renew it anyway….part no. 188106

If it’s a pre 2004 model make sure the cut-outs on the “Mushroom” antiflood mechanism is approx 2mm – If they are larger (5mm) then you will need to also replace this as well as the module (which now does a timed fill so does not rely on the floats) – I can’t remember the part numbers unfortunately. Also as “Clivejameson” said check the float & clean as they have a habit of attracting Iron filings from the water !
    Hope this helps.
