    BSH-MAN probably means the water sensor fitted on some Excell w/m to sense when water enetring machine at an acceptable frequency.
    Situated above dispenser inline with internal hoses from fill valve.

    The latest dishwashers also have them now Greg. They are fitted in line between the inlet valve and side chamber.

    That was my thought, does BSH-MAN’s post refer to a washing machine?

    Sorry if I caused any confusion. The dishwasher that started this thread does not have a flow sensor.
    But the model now supersedes to one that does. 8)

    My post was intended to be a β€œheads up” about the fill system you independent guys who will be seeing these types soon, as they come out of warranty. πŸ˜‰

    I used the washing machine (that still uses a pressure switch for level) flow sensor as a term of reference.
    This flow sensor was only fitted to top end washing machines, so not seen in big numbers.
