ParticipantFirst of all thanks to everyone who posts on here as it has helped me get to where I am at the moment.
My dishwashwer just gave up the ghost, so with help from here i have got it to go so far then stops.
I had to change the inlet solenoid for starters as no water was coming in. It would then rinse and empty and stop, so I cleaned out the float switch ( very sludgey lol). 🙂
Now I have got to the heating but it stops with water in the bottom and the end light comes on.
I know what you are thinking, the heater matrix. This is where it gets confusing. While I had my head down and turning on the washer, I didn’t realise that my son was leaning on the three program buttons 😳 . It started with two program buttons flashing. I let it run. Believe it or not it did a cycle and warmed up the water.
Controller unit faulty? Checked it for any dry joints, but still getting the same result.Does anyone know where I could get a schematic or have any ideas, to try and save me another £100.
Thanks in advance. Ian.January 28, 2009 at 8:20 pm #275262kelland

sounds like a module problem or is it filling enough? the machine wont go into heating unless wash pressure is high enough ( note the microswitch for this on the heater) how old is the machine? or what is the FD number
please remember safety…especially children out of the room when testing!

Thanks for that kelland.
Will try it tonight.
Whats the best way to get the main body out the way?
I’ve removed the 4 bolts from the outside, do i undo the ones connecting the sump or does this need to stay on?
Thanks in advance.January 29, 2009 at 8:37 pm #275264swanny16

There is no FD No on the door only the e-Nr what I have stated, and type S9H1b.
Tried your suggestion but to no avail unfortunatley.
The micro switch is in working order.
Still don’t understand why it worked when the two buttons were pressed, obviously something was over riding something else? But what I do not know.
It’s looking more towards the control unit, unless someone has any other suggestions.
Any more ideas please. -
