I’ve had this machine 10years+ this model was subject to the recall over the failure of the control PCB. This was due to a link on the heater circuit going high resistance and exploding. The PCB was replaced by Bosch 5+ years ago, and now the new PCB is starting to develop the same symptoms as the original. Does anyone know if the new PCB’s were modified or not?
On the original PCB I had changed the heater circuit relay, but the fault was actually the link. Replacing the relay provided a temporary cure, at the time I was unaware of the problem with the link. I’m thinking of hardwiring a link on the board myself to replace the plated-thru printed link. No doubt Bosch would not approve… 😯
Any thoughts on this?
