Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher overfills.

Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 Dishwasher. FD 8412.

Machine fills and starts to wash. It continues to fill and then the pump cuts in; machine is still filling. Float inside is fully raised as the water level seems quite high for this age of machine. Pulses the pump on /off, filling never stops.
OK, I’ve found what I think is a flowmeter on the inlet side of the airbox; connected inline with the blue supply hose from the valve. Is this possibly the culprit, or am I looking at the PCB?

Flow meter, every time. Gegsy will tell you horror stories about them………. 😀

The wheel bearing appears to wear and then chaff thus giving duff signals back to module making it think it has turned less (not enough water entered) so fills longer till it sees the correct amount of pulses (or not) but by then its too late, overfilling has occured 😀

Hi guys ive got one of these d/w at the mo and its not taking enough water in. It starts to fill then pumps out fills again etc etc even does it with the door open ,no problem with the anti flood though.
