I have a Bosch SGS43T52GB/21 around 3-4 years old. Yesterday I topped up the salt and afterwards I went to do a wash and the water didnt seem to fill. I have looked inside and the dome shaped valve? on the base is making a sucking/gurgling sound when the water is supposed to be entering. I tried pressing it down and the noise stops and I am guessing that is some sort of inlet and outlet valve for the water.
I have had the machine out and checked the water supply to it and thats not blocked so its likely to be a problem internal to the dishwasher. I am a bit lost at what the next step might be or what to try next.
Looking on the bosch site I get a list of various parts in that area and items 0429 and 0420 on page 4 of their parts listing look the likely ones but I think buying ‘random’ parts to try out might get very expensive quickly so maybe I need a little guidance where to try first please 🙂
