I know it’s a problem on these, but has anyone managed to reseal the tub to base? I generally advise the customer of it, but as there is a more serious fault they write machine off. This one is immaculate except the leak, so I need to attempt to seal it.

2 years ago nomadPaul mentioned the use of a ‘sealing strip’ in one of his posts. I’m not at all sure whether this is an official BSH fix or what, you might like to contact him.

It is an ‘official’ fix……just not a very good or successful one unfortunately. The fault isn’t necessarily the sealant but the base warping. Engineers have tried re-sealing it but I haven’t heard of any long term success as of yet.
