ParticipantHi Anyone help?
Called to the d/w today that had tripped mains and would only show zero on display and would not reset. Found track on module blown so did repair checked the heater and wash motor for earth faults and continuity all fine so off we go washed fine reset but tripped again. Double checked readings and fitted new module 489607 without the mod in the box (sicasym) as previous postings suggested? Does the module need to be configured becase when I fitted it the rinse button is behind the facia and the programme did not just select one prog so two lights on at some times? Anyone help…Please!March 17, 2010 at 8:52 am #315227Martin

Sure it does and if you bought the module direct from Bosch it would have included the instruction sheet in order to configure it. So I guess the answer to both is no?
Never to worry just give me your email address and I’ll send you a copy. 😀

I’ve sent you an email trainer. 😀
From memory it’s best to code the module out of its fascia mounting first before fully installing.
I personally haven’t had a problem with not having coding sheets or fitting instructions with parts I’ve ordered direct from Bosch. Although I accept is does happen occasionally as Clive mentioned. What I have had though from Bosch on a least 2 occasions in recent months is used (duff) parts that have found their way from BSH engineers vans back into stock at Milton Keynes. Now that really p***** me off! 👿
