Participanthi the dishwasher seems to run ok but sticks with 1 minute to go.
its not the one with the clear tube which gets blocked. it has a thin metal plate on the base. heater ok wiring ok pcb looks ok.
any ideas welcomed.September 9, 2014 at 6:56 am #418923Martin

1 min to go indicates a ‘time out’ for whatever reason. Fill, Drain or Heating? The three most likely areas to check out.

But once you gain ‘the knowledge’ you will just love them and will be straining your leash to get at ’em. 😉

dont think i will get the knowledge on this one it filled emptied and heated.
does it know its filled could be flow meter, does it know its emptied or heated could be pcb.
It looks like its heading for landfill. it will take too much time trying flow meter or pcb then the dreaded phone call “its still not working”.September 10, 2014 at 7:28 am #418927Andy jones

Worth trying impellor jug before it’s binned

That model is in fact the easiest to fix. Simple access underneath. Both the Impellor jug and PCB are cheap (the PCB rarely fails on these anyway) I’d say the heater the most likely suspect in this case.
This may go landfill but if you get chance to check out another then they are no problem. It’s the latest plastic base models that are BIG trouble, believe me! 🙁

Agree with Martin. Had to replace heater assembly on the later model and complete base had to come off. Nightmare
