Customers on phone saying her Bosch dishwasher on occassions will count down to 100 mins then display shoots up to 199 and can take up to 4 hours to complete cycle also contents not as clean as they should be.

Any info much appreciated, I take it that the digital read out can produce error codes but is 199 one of them?.

Its probably not heating – I think this is a model that adjusts the time of the wash dependant on a few factors – It will increase the time of the cycle to max if its not heating at all ( which is IIRC 199 mins ) – I would check the water levels and heater element . Low water levels will prevent heating operation
