Have been to the above dishwasher, program starts with empty, then starts to fill but will not stop, even when flood protect kicks in, just pulses empty/fill on the flood microswitch. Has all the symptoms of the pressure chamber to sump hose, but this is clean, as is the pressure chamber. This model does not have the diaphram switch on the pressure chamber, but has the flowmeter,(424099). I suspect fault is either the flowmeter or the control module (496373). Any suggestions as how to eliminate either of these as the cause would be appreciated.

Flow meter (“impellor jug”) doesn’t seem to be very reliable on these, but at least it’s cheap. All the ones I’ve seen which have been pulsing have had to have the pcb changed, though…… 🙁
