    hi,this dishwasher just keeps on filling till the orange float touches microswitch,its not the type with pressure switch by the float,is it possible the problem is the thing (presumable pressure switch) between the valve and where it fills the tank?

    I think the thing you are referring to is the flow meter or as Bosch call it, “impellor jug”. It is likely the problem is caused by this and the best way to find out is to swap it out. Use search facility with those terms and you’ll no doubt find out much more. On the other hand only bother with that if you have already tried clearing any gunge from the ribbed tube going from the fill matrix to the sump. You can do this in a diagnostic way by repeatedly shoving a 12″ cable tie in and out of it from the sump end accessible from inside with the filters / screens removed.

    thanks chaps,iv already cleared the gunge,will be ordering a impeller jug to complete job
