I have a Bosch Dishwasher SGS46E22GB/01 that works only for 1 minutes before the check water light comes on. I can reset it and try again only for the same thing to happen. It sounds as if the water starts to come in and the pump starts to whir and keeps whirring but the cycle stops. I have cleaned the filter, the impeller pump and the matrix on the side that was full on gunk. The float switch is in the down position and I have done the 45 degree lean trick. There is no water in the bottom.
Both the hoses into the back are clear and the water flows into the machine.
Is there anything else I can check? Thanks very much.
Re: BOSCH SGS46E22GB/01 Check water light on after 1 minute.
Thanks, is that the small fan/impellor under the filter in the bottomcentre of the machine. I have checked that and it seems to rotate freely and is not jammed, is that what you mean? Thanks for the reply.
Re: BOSCH SGS46E22GB/01 Check water light on after 1 minute.
Update- after cleaning out the matrix and tilting the machine by 45 degrees, it managed to do half a full cycle before stopping again with a check water light. I am thinking it is now a sticky float problem?
Any ideas? Thanks.
Re: BOSCH SGS46E22GB/01 Check water light on after 1 minute.
Problem solved, the matrix was full of gunk, so was the float system on the side; cleaned it all out and all is fine now. Thanks. At least I now know what an impeller jug is as well. Cheers!
