Our Bosch SGS5002 is leaving gritty deposits on top rack items. I have tried trouble shooting as follows:

    – checked arm jets are clean and move freely
    – topped up with salt & rinse aid
    – filter in bottom is clear

Any ideas what else to check? Or time to call in engineer? 😕

Possibly underfilling, so not enough water being pumped to top rotor is the first thought that comes to mind. Engineers job really – have a look in Directories or Repairs@ to see if there is a UKW engineer in our area.

    Hi

Change the spray arms and the pipe feeding the upper spray arm.

Just had same problem with my Bosch. Problem resolved to small piece of glass jammed in the feeding spout just above the centre of the top arm.

Many thanks to the moderator for constant reminders about the likely presence of glass, or by now I could be nursing a sliced & diced finger.

    No problem 😀

Amazing how invisible glass is immersed in water, always a caution with dishwashers 😉
