    main faults
    1. dishes not clean
    2. Display shows 2H for all 5 programmable cycles
    3. at the end of cycle it stays on 1 min for avariable length of time – usually several minutes, up to 15.
    4. actual cycle is around 80 minutes
Water is hot and there seems to be plenty of it mid-cycle.

is it the timer circuit board?
any way of telling, other than replacing it.
can i get just the PCB or do i have to replace the whole timer unit?

and what are those plastic angled pieces that seem to be sitting in the bottom of the door ?

Please re-check that model number, Paul. Can’t find anything on it.

PCB could be at fault, however, eliminate the standard problems first. Underfilling and poor circulation are the single commonest problems on these machines. As you have the door outer panel already off, remove the lower panel under the tub and extratct the ribbed hose in the bottom left corner. This fills up with goo and causes all manner of funny things to happen. If it particularly mucky, remove the left hand side panel and clean out the pressure chamber thoroughly. This should allow the machine to fill completely. Water level should be halfway up the salt cap if correct. Obviously, clean out the rotors as well, paying special attention to the tips.

    Power off, of course.

The plastic traingles fit into the “bite” on each hinge and reinforce the corners of the door.
